A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Game Title: Microbe Zombie Warfare

Game Objective: The goal of the game is to battle with your army of zombie microbes against other non-zombie entities. Your task is to accumulate and multiply your army, maneuvering between enemies to annihilate them. Utilize abilities such as "Target Attack", "Patrolling between Two Points", and "Following a Point". Energy bonuses are awarded for destroying enemy microbes.

Game Mechanics:

  • To use abilities, you must have at least one point on the map, which you can set or remove with a left mouse click.
  • A right mouse click sets a second point.
  • Press the Q key to replenish your army.
  • WASD - to move your character
(1,2,3 Q, WASD, Left and Right mouse clicks) - Total

Skills:

  1. Target Attack (Key 1): Activate this skill, and all your microbes will rush towards the point set by your left click at high speed for 2 seconds.
  2. Follow Target (Key 2): This skill makes your microbes follow the first point (left mouse click). They will reach the point and remain there while the skill is active. You can relocate the point to move them around.
  3. Patrolling Between Points (Key 3):
    • If the first point is set (left click), your army will patrol between you and this point.
    • If both points are set (left and right clicks), the army will patrol between these points.
    • If only the second point is set (right click), the army will patrol between you and this point.
    • If points are removed, the army will freeze and wait for the points to reappear or for the skill to end.

Each skill has a cooldown (CD), and while one is active, you cannot use others. The CD progress can be observed on the left side of the screen.

Gameplay Dynamics:

  • You receive damage from enemy microbes, and they receive damage from yours.
  • The heroes themselves cannot fight each other.

AI and Enemy Behavior:

  • As there wasn't enough time to write AI algorithms for bots, they will always pursue you and use their skills upon accumulation. :)
  • Initially, the idea was for them to fight each other too, so you might notice they inflict damage on each other when they get close.
  • In general, regarding the theme of Bevy Jam #4, the maximum number of possible entities is approximately 48,100.

Note to Players:

Thank you for your attention. Unfortunately, due to errors and limited experience with Bevy, it was not possible to compile a web version or a Linux build of the application.
